Krunos, new water treatment plants being started: the sustainable investment of bgb weston and zilio group

Five water treatment plants being started within the next three months. Is being born the big project of Krunos, a company specialized in mini and micro-plants hydroelectric construction owned by Zilio Group, which operating for more than half a century into plant engineering and renewable sector, and by BGB Energy, dedicated to development of renewable energy of Financial Group BGB Weston.

Hydroelectric plants: the project

The english asset-manager has chosen to entrust the planning and development of hydroelectric plants to italian holding for its historicity, products quality and certified skills which, from 1959, have enabled it to distinguish itself in the sector. BGB Weston, infact, for some years has expanded its activities in alternative energy sector, setting itself as advisor for m&a and capital structure operation. The water treatment plants of Krunos will represent the sustainable investment desidered by two companies.

Today it’s impossibile remain indifferent in front of climate change. The investment have to consider the energy transformation and etical approach. For years we have paid attention to renewable sector, where there’s space of develepment” told Lorenzo Gallucci, CEO of BGB Weston. “It’s a simple but innovative project, aimed at generation of sustainable energy”, he added Damiano Zilio, AD of Zilio Group.

The five Krunos hydroelectric plants, site in different places of Italy, are composed by Pelton, Francis, Kaplan and Coclea Turbine, that guarantee from 100 to 300 kW of power. An efficacy and innovative telecontrol system permitting the management water flow.

Revalorize the existing conducted: the activity of Krunos

Krunos has also achieved the permissions for restructuring and valorization of other thirty mini hydroelectric plants site on existing water pipelines, that will generate renewable energy, making efficient infrastructures not functioning. Krunos infact offers a new solutions: build plants on existing water pipeslines using a advanced technology that guarantee security and non-existent environmental impact.

Thanks to experience of AD Renato Tessarollo, Krunos is also owner of patents for micro-hydroelectric plants, that allow the company to occupy a prestigious position in the green economy sector. The objective of Zilio Group and BGB Weston, through the Krunos work, is guarantee a clear energy with innovative technologies. “The sustainable is the future”, ended Damiano Zilio.
